the program

There are hundreds of ‘how to be a filmmaker’ courses on YouTube, and if that’s what you’re in need of, I would absolutely encourage you to check it out. Lighting? Youtube. What lenses to use? Youtube. How to create ‘cinematic content’? Yup, head to YouTube. I’m not and won’t pretend to be the vlogger guy with all the tech tips. We’ll work one-on-one to identify your goals and build a plan to see them to fruition.

This is a personalized, one-on-one mentorship where I work directly with you, hold you accountable, and help transform your career. You’ll get access to decks, budget templates, shot list templates, and treatments that I’ve used over the years, as well as direct coaching, one hour a week, for eight weeks.

1:1 mentorship

Why? Because I’ve been in your position, when you’re trying to hustle, make inroads, and get your project across the line, but you need some help. I benefitted greatly from having a mentor during my first documentary, and I’m now in a position to share the knowledge I’ve gained.

This mentorship is about bringing projects to fruition and isn’t a plug-and-play course hawked by some Instagram ‘content creator’. This is a one-on-one, personalized, 8-session course for those of you with a story, project, or film that needs an extra lift to get it across the finish line. Whether you’re developing, pitching, or finishing your project, this program is for you. - Zep
